Dear Future Teammate,
Before you decide to choose this sport, please find out what exactly synchronized skating is - you can find some description on our page. If you have already learnt some skating, you are not over 14 and you have decided to work in a team you are welcome to join Jeges-vegyes. You can see our training schedule on the page. However, there are a few things you should know. There are not many ice-skating rinks in Hungary so our opportunities are limited. There might be that our trainings are not in the most convenient time, but you have to know, even first class skaters have trainings at 6 in the morning. You should also think about the costs of trainings, camps, competitions, and dresses - these costs are not as high as in figure skating, but still come to a significant sum. Besides as synchronized skating is a team sport, you should participate on most training sessions. It does not mean that you have to be present even when you are sick but if the team is important for you you will have to make some sacrifices. I do not want to discourage you with these lines but I would like you to know what this sport means before you decide. However, after all this work and sacrifice you will experience that competitions and performances make them worthwhile. You can ask those girls with whom I have been working for almost 4 years - they all enjoy this sport very much. If you would like to join us, feel free to come and see one of our trainings.
